Yes. mine rattles too, I believe this is normal. The safety switch that turns it off if it's tipped is making the noise.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Believe it or not it is normal from what I researched, here is a quote from a company called Mill: "All our floor heaters and oil heaters are equipped with a tip-over safety feature, which ensures that the heater won't heat if it falls or lies flat on the ground. The safety feature makes noise when the heater is moved and sounds like a small ball rolling around inside the heater. This is completely normal."
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I never heard any rattling sound when I opened my package. It could just be a screw that fell out that doesn't have too big of an impact. But it could be something worse, like the ceramic broke during shipment. If it continues to work good, I wouldn't worry.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine does NOT make the sound.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We've used our heater and it's quiet. No rolling around sound at all. Maybe some packing got into yours?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If the rattling is something that concerns you, you should return and exchange the unit at Best Buy. More than likely it is just something moving around in the housing and not an issue.
