• Hi, the ZZ button will enable the sleep setting on the clock. When the sleep timer is set, the radio will turn off depending on the time you've programmed this setting. You can set the radio to go off either 15, 30, 45, 60 or 90 minutes and this will avoid the radio to stay on for long periods of time. Daniel T. - Insignia Support

• The ZZZ button usually means "snooze". Which means when the alarm sounds you can press that button & it silences the alarm but doesn't turn it off. The alarm will sound again a few minutes later.
