Either the clock is malfunctioning on its own or something to do with the outlet it is connected to? Otherwise I am not sure.

I chatted online with a Geek Squad rep, and it sounds like that's the normal functioning of the clock, so we're good. For whatever it's worth, the length of time between power interruption extended
