• It is hard wired with the USB connector. There is no other way to connect the station to a power source.

• I just plug it into a usbc to usbc belkin charging dock. I suppose you could plug it in to the ps5 itself but I would not recommend that.

• The cord that comes from the back of the docking station is USB C the ports that actually charge the controller or at the bottom with a 3.5 mm Jack is those little copper tabs is what charges the controller hope this answers your question
