QuestionHow large is the clamp opening? I need something that I can secure to a 6" thick desk.

- Answer The tabletop or desktop thickness should be between .8 ~ 2.2 inches (2 ~ 5.5 cm). This mount won't fit on a 6" thick desk.

- Answer Yes it is possible, but depending on what size monitors you have, the bottom monitor might be super close to the surface that the mount is mounted to.

QuestionCan you adjust the height of each arm independently? I.e. I have two different models of monitors and their mounting holes are not in the same location requiring one to be mounted higher so the screens are in line.

QuestionWill two identical monitors be at the same height side by side? The pictures make it look like one monitor will always be low than the other.

- Answer Yes they will be. The pictures show the "curved arms" but in the installation instructions, it shows you how to make them the same height. So, they will be the same height if you have the same monitors.

- Answer Well, you could but, you’d have to find a way to mount your pole sideways to get the vertical orientation for the monitors. Otherwise no.

QuestionHow many inches deep does the overhang of the desk need to be to mount this using the clamp?

- Answer On the bottom side actual overhang, like the “doubled up’ ridge that runs around a lot of tables, I would say 3” MINIMUM or have a second pice of wood or other material to butt up against a thinner ridge that was the same thickness to achieve the 3” minimum. It can be wider and deeper of course. Also, it sticks out past the edge of the table between 5/8” and 3/4” if that matters. Original photos show the bottom side of this.

- Answer No. I have two 27" monitors on it and they cover each other. Not good enough for 27" so no on 28". Maybe a 26 ".

- Answer Sure as long as the bolt pattern matches and you either have enough space behind the desk to let the arm bend back or it can be moved forward enough for you. System seems to be solid enough to support it. That being said, it won’t ever take a second 32”. Arms won’t go wide enough. 27 seems to be the max for the stand. This is a pic of my 27” and you can see how it lines up with the middle of the pole.

QuestionWhat is the min/max size for a center grommet hole mount? The grommet on my desk is off to the side, so I may look at drilling a new one. Or does the hole just need to be large enough to get the bolt through?

- Answer The hole just needs to be large enough to get the bolt through. It's pretty slick. They have a nut on the inside of the tube where a second threaded piece will bolt to.

QuestionMy desktop is permanently mounted to the wall so I can't use the clamp on the back edge of the desk. Can this be mounted in a 3 inch diameter hole that is in the desk top or is there a "Grommet Mount" available? Thanks

- Answer The desk should be between .8 in. (2 cm) and 2 in. (5 cm) thick and strong enough to bear the weight of your monitor.

- Answer 32" monitors will not fit on this mount. The maximum is 27". But it should support up to around 10 pounds on each arm.
