- Answer yup! I used both. theyre pretty exact this one just records your cabin. its a nice jump but i wouldnt say it's necessary unless you drive for something like uber then for sure it is worth it. this one does have auto shut off tho so the screen turns black after a while to prevent distraction but it is still always recording.

QuestionMy camera freezes roughly 5 seconds after turning on. Just started doing it as the weather turned. Pretty sure it’s not related but wanted to note that. I have unplugged it for anywhere between 10s to 2 mins and it continues to freeze. Any ideas?

QuestionI have 2 of these Dash Cameras NS-DCDCHH2 . The Clocks on BOTH of them keep running fast ( Gain about 1 minute per week) I keep resetting them but they keep running fast. Is there any way to fix this?? Thanks

- Answer Hi RP! Thanks for raising this concern to us about your Insignia™ - Front and Rear-Facing Camera Dash Cam. Unfortunately, this device can only remember time for seven days and you may need to reset it in order to get accurate time. To reset the time in your dash cam, press the power/set button when it's not recording to open the menu, then select the time setup option. I hope this answers your question. QuestionTurned my vehicle on today and now the screen is just entirely white. I can't see any menus and hitting any of the buttons seems to make the camera stop recording (red light turns off). Any fixes for this? I tried power cycling already multiple times.

QuestionHow do I get to Settings and User Mode to change the time?

- Answer Hi RebMil, Go to menu then to set the current date and time. Use the  and  buttons to select a number, then press the OK button to lock your selection and move to the next number field. When you finish, press the OK button to save your entry. Renee, Insignia Support The date and time is part of the file name for each recording.
