Yes, you can center the TV even when the studs are off center. The way the TV hooks onto the mounting plate allows you to move it about 10 inches either direction.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had this problem as well. Studs on the wall we’re not dead center on the tv. Like it says it is fully adjustable and can be mounted off center as I did.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, not all of them will let you center the TV. The Sanus SMF218 mount I purchased will not center. I had to take it back to the store. Don’t make the mistake I did and assume that they all can be centered. If it can be centered it’ll be in the instruction manual, which can be looked up on the manufacturer’s website.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on the weight of the TV. I have an 85 inch, 95 pound TV that I needed to move off centered from the mounting plate, but because of the weight it is now tilted. Seems like the plate cannot support the weight if you slide the TV over a few notches.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.MOST it seems CAN be centered. Make sure you read the fine print. It depends on if you're drilling into wood studs or concrete for the Samus BLF328 I installed. The wood studs you can hang the arms off center, concrete you cannot. My guess is most of the Sanus line is like this so make sure you read the print under the centering section....I thought I couldn't center at first...until I realized that note was only for concrete installations.
