QuestionI'm looking for a mount that will allow the TV to fold UNDER a deep shelf when not in use (thus resting parrallel to the shelf, nearly out of sight), and then raise above and perpendicular to the shelf when pulled out and in use.

QuestionMy studs are at 24 inches. Can I mount one side to a stud and the other side with wall anchors (drywall)?

- Answer I would not recommend using only drywall anchors. I would get a small rectangular sheet of 1/2 " plywood and mount that to the 24" studs. Then drill into and anchor the TV stand to the plywood, using one side in the studs and the other in the plywood. The mount is pretty heavy and the weight of teh TV must be considered. I would be uncomfortable using only drywall on one side.
