• Not likely, most portable CD players are going to use AA-AAA batteries, in either 3-4 per device, that puts the output voltage at peak at 4.5 VDC to 6VDC, so only a unit using four AA batteries will have the needed 5VDC that a USB port needs. Depending on what you want to plug into the USB port (Assuming your phone), battery drain might be fairly high and you're not going to get much runtime out of the player if it has to power a USB device at the same time.
