- Answer Absolutely. The Insignia NS-P4112 Portable CD Player |SKU:8222915 operating instructions indicate on page 10 under the section Automatic power off, “When your CD player stops playing, it enters standby mode. After 60 seconds in standby mode, your CD player turns off automatically to save battery power.” Good Luck.

QuestionMy Insignia NS-P4112 only says "HOLD" in a small box on the side of the screenEvery time I try to turn it on, there is only a small box that says "HOLD". I changed the batteries and tried again with different cds but it won't work. Help!

- Answer The hold switch is located on the left side of the player and when it is engaged, the buttons on the unit are locked so buttons are not accidently pressed. You will need to slide this hold switch to the off position and you will regain all functionality of the player.

- Answer Connect the Aux cord to the "line out" jack on the cd player, and the other end to the Aux input in your Jeep.

- Answer Of course it will work with this Insignia CD Player. I am very happy with Insignia CD player and I have been using it playing all of my line dance musics when teaching line dancing with my group. I also owned a portable Insignia DVD Player and I am also very happy with it. Hope this helps.

- Answer Yes, I am using it for that exact purpose and it works very well. You will need to buy a cable to connect them, identical audio jack's on both ends.

- Answer THAT HAS NOT HAPPENED TO MY UNIT. HOWEVER, IF IT DID AND I ONLY OWNED IT FOR TWO WEEKS, I WOULD RETURN IT TO BEST BUY FOR A NEW UNIT. IT SOUNDS LIKE THE UNIT YOU PURCHASED IS DEFECTIVE.
