- Answer it doesn't have a speaker so you must use earphones to listen. It comes with a set of earphones. You can adjust the volume. It was certainly loud enough for me to hear it with the earphones.

- Answer It is easy to open the battery compartment from the outside back. It requires a little pressure to slide it open. The sound is good.

- Answer It is ok. I carry it in a sling. If you are a heavy jogger, it may be a problem, but the ESP function should take care of that.

- Answer Sorry, you need headphones or earbuds as there is no speaker. You could get a speaker that plugs into the headphone jack. Mine has no wrist strap
