“I have a newer TV, LG with HDMI outputs, I would like to hookup my older Bose 3-2-1 sound system with RCA cable connectors, would this connector work or do I need the HDMI output to RCA input connector?”

I am not a video expert. But I think this gadget is for converting an analog input ( such as an old VHS player ) to digital form and sending that from the gadget to the HDMI input port on the newer TV. I doubt that it would work the other way.
