• No controller lag, the games will look better but will notice a tear/graphic lag ever now in then when a lot is happening on screen. I play on 4K tv and use the adapter on 1080p

• I used it for my PS2 and there isn’t any that I could see. You should be good but I know some Smart TVs May be too powerful for the converter where nothing will show up.

• I have this item and use it for the same exact thing! I have not noticed any lag and I don't think that it would be an issue since the controller is connected directly to the system and this product merely only transfer the image.
