hi - this remote does NOT work as a replacement. i’ve already returned the one i purchased. i’m somewhat amazed that no one at best buy could give me a straight answer as to whether this would work or not! “pretty sure it will work” and “works with most LG tvs” is not really helpful.

I have the 5 device version of this remote, and I just got it handling my new 65 inch LG C2. It looks almost exactly the same, this one just has more going on is all. That's why I'm looking at it to replace my 5 device remote with this one, because I just purchased a new receiver, plus I'll have my LG to control, then a sony CD player, and a 4k UHD Bluray player, a cable set top box, a regular DVD player, etc.....
