If you are not using the RCA to earphone adapter supplied with the earphones, both of you should be able to hear the tv.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The optical output on my TV already has a sound bar connected to it so where will I plug in the earphone base.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on the TV and the type of connection you use.... most TV made today no longer have an RCA [red & white] output that is independent of the speakers, they do have a headphone jack but once something [headphones or wire to a wireless headset] is plugged in the speakers cut off. If a TV has an Optical output that is independent of the speakers this headset solves the problem of connectivity since you can hear both audio out the TV's speakers and this headset ... You'd need to buy an TOSLINK optical cable though since it's not included with these
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, our hook up works that way, you can vary the volume on your headset to your liking, and other viewers can adjust theirs with the remote.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Simple answer.....yes. The volume control on headset is it's own. I can have the t.v. volume off and still listen to any desired volume with the headset. I use them more than I thought I would.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. The headphones and your TV volume work independently. You can even have the TV on mute and the phones still work. This is provided you are watching the same show. If you are looking for the TV one one source and the headphones on another, I'm not sure that would be possible and have not tried to do so.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes.
