A:Answer These are GLASS, not plastic covers. There is a template included in the package, to PERFECTLY align the cover. Snap the template over the face of your phone, peel off about half of the backing and start at top or bottom. Then just continue to peel off the rest of the backing as you press the protector into place. When done, remove the plastic template and save it for the next time (there are 2 screen covers in the package). If you follow the included directions and clean the phone (with the included cleaning wipes) it will be no problem. I too am a first time user of glass screen protectors, hold no advanced academic degrees or computer training and it was easy as that. Good luck, should be totally hassle free.
