You'll love this answer - 'It depends'. :) The Insignia is a Micro SD card (and SD card) reader, not a SIM card reader. If you can copy / import your phone contacts, from your phone's SIM card to an installed (on your phone) micro SD card, then the answer is probably 'Yes'. (Whether you can read to format of the file on you computer is another issue. ) But, if your question is, can you use the Insignia reader to read files on your SIM card, the answer is No. The physical format of the cards are different.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. Export your contacts to your phone's SD card, plug the SD into this reader, then pull the file from the card to your PC. If you have a smart phone, just plug your phone directly into your PC and transfer your contacts file that way.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That will depend on whether your phone will allow you to save your contacts to your SD card.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on the type of memory card you have. This reader seems to only accept SD cards. Best to take what you use on your phone to the store and try it out there before purchasing it.
