In theory, yes, you can transfer files between whatever you'd like, be it the HDD, SSD, SD, CF (compact flash, in either older parallel or newer serial), USB flash drive, or even the obsure eMMC flash via USB adapter.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. To transfer from a SD card to a Flash drive you need to use some device either a PC or Smartphone/Tablet that supports USB OTG (On The Go) which is and adapter between USB to the type connector on your smartphone or tablet. Then connect the card reader and copy or move the files to the selected device and use that device to copy to flash drive. On my cameras that don't have Wifi connectivity I can use USB OTG and transfer my photos to my smartphone. Then I either post process photos on mobile or upload to cloud storage. Handy unit to have for that reason alone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes as long as you use your pc to do so.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This device will not allow you to plug another USB device into it, but if you have another available USB slot on your computer, you should be able to plug both devices at the same time and transfer from the SD card to the Flash drive.
