• Yes, just insert the adapter in the USB port on the Chromebook and the device shows up in Files.

• This device uses a usb slot to plug in... so aslong as you have a usb 3 slot you are good to go. Your best option w a crome book is to use a micro sd because most crome books have a micro sd slot

• Yea you should be fine just plug it in. If it’s saying that your file has ran off some where then it could be a problem with your download location or maybe you need to download the correct side from the manufacturer website specifically I say the manufacturer because other websites with their download could have a virus attached to it now you got more then just Your pictures you have a problem.
