No it does not, the Switch only supports "Officially Licensed by Nintendo" products and this is one of them. Best to always go with the certified products, also including in PowerA accessories they work fine but this Insignia "USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter" does not work Model Number of product NS-PU98635/ NS-PU98635-C Came with a CD to Install drivers which the Nintendo Switch cannot do.

this does NOT work. there are some models out there supposedly that do, but it seems your best option is to order the nintendo one if best buy does not have it in store. also fo not trust your helpful best buy representative they will tell you it will work with anythinf.

No, I bought it in a pinch thinking that it would. Other gigabit adapters, that I have tested, seem to work. However, this one does not for some reason.

I just tried it cause it says compatibility with Nintendo switch I believe might have to do with the version you have but works right out of box without installing drivers with the switch version 2 I know this is old post but might help someone

This is an old question but, yes it does work. You just have to update the drivers in the adapter itself first. I literally just bought it, hooked it up to my friends PC, and then plugged it into my switch docking station. It works just fine.
