It smells like isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol. I didn't see any ingredient list on the bottle. Most tape head cleaners use that. If you refill it, use 90% or better as you want as little water content as possible.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sorry, wish i knew. No where on bottle or packaging does it tell you. Thought that was law ,but oh well, i have trusted it on my old vhs tapes of nearly 30 yrs. keeps my old Magnavox dubbing unit working very well. Have heard bad things about using certain brands but this is the only one i have ever used and no problems with being too abrasive.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No ingredients on label. I THINK it is denatured alcohol.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It doesn't say anywhere on the bottle or box what it is. I was concerned about that as well, but it is the only product I could find anywhere after extensive on-line research. My vhs heads were so bad they were not tracking correctly to play or record. It says it is flammable, so it must be alcohol based. Regardless, I had to take a chance and it worked on my multiple VCRs. So far so good.
