Where do I put the drops in the VCR cassette cleaner? null

Drops go in a small square hole on the front of the vhs tape.

There is a small hole on the top of the VCR cassette. Take the solution and squeeze 3-4 drops into the hole and insert the cassette into the player then press play. It is now clean but for old or dusty ones clean then 2-3 times ok! Now try a movie that you don't care too much about to test the VCR. If it works that is great! but if it still giving you a problem then clean the player some more until it plays the movies like a DVD. I hope this help.

In the little opening on the spine where it says to put the drops of fluid

There's a little square hole on the tape casing, drops go in that hole. Must be used with the tape that comes with the cleaner.
