I'm not sure about the particular birds sounds, but you can wake up to music/radio/media. It would work of you had bird sounds as a song track. Just ask Google to "set a [music/media/radio] alarm at [time]," and the Assistant will respond by asking what song/radio/etc you'd like it to play. Once you let it know, the alarm is set, and you'll hear the requested song at the set time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unfortunately, no. Like the Google Home units you get a basic alarm tone. Not the annoying buzzers but more like a generic ringtone sound. I'm fine with it for the most part, but when the option to change it becomes available I probably will replace it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am able to set alarm to wake playing a radio station using Insignia Google Assistant. It took me several tries to figure out what to say to make the Insignia Google Assistant do what I want. I say, "Hey, Google. Set a radio alarm for ________ a.m." The assistant responds by asking what radio I want and I state the call letters of the radio station. I hate using ringing alarms, but the chimes on this are nice sounding. I am a new user and really appreciate everyone's feedback and solutions!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can have it play any music from your streaming music like Spotify or google music playlist. Ask the google to set an alarm with forest sounds. Then she will ask the time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If this works like the Google Home / Google Home Mini, you can now say "Hey Google, set a music alarm for 8am" :). Dunno about non-music sounds, though, but I imagine if you had a playlist of, say, bird sounds, you could ask it to play that playlist when it follows up with the "What should I play?"
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can set alarm to be music instead of standard buzz if you have connected any music accounts to Google home app. "Hey Google Set media/music/radio alarm for 6am tomorrow”. Much better than standard buzz.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can! You have to change how you set it up, but it's absolutely possible. This page describes the process: https://9to5google.com/2018/01/31/how-to-wake-up-set-alarm-favorite-music-google-home-mini-android-basics/ but the basic way is to make sure you've got a music service like google music, pandora, or spotify linked and when you set the alarm say "Hey Google, wake me up at 7am to my Morning Wake Up playlist" instead of just wake me up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can actually set a radio or song alarm with google assistant but not with insignia's goigle assistant it keeps saying its not supported??? Weird i know! Even tried setting it through one of my google homes but then it still plays the alarm tone while the homes play radio
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The alarm is not able to be changed and plays a melody, not a harsh buzz. Agree would like to have the ability to change it.
