• Absolutely My LG refrigerator is using the same filter as yours, and I just switched few months ago to the insignia filter , I am so glad as it works great !!! Also cheaper than the original LG filter... We all like it Hope it helps

• I think it would work. I have a LG fridge and it works fine on it. Ask the best buy store people, they should know
