I had the same issue with two insignia smart outlet switches. In the user manual for those, there are directions on how to preform a factory reset. I factory reset both switches then went through the steps to connect it to my wifi. It worked perfectly and I never got the error message again. Find out how to factory reset the in wall switches and try to connect again, that should do it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Also had trouble with connecting to Amazon Echo. I could not get the switch connected to the wifi. Called Insignia for help. I was told that the IOS i was using was not compatable with the insignia software at that time (IOS 11.2). While they put me on hold to double check this I got out my Android Tablet and set it up on the first try (Marshmellow 6.1) I think it was. Then I connected it to Alexa without any trouble. It was the Apple IOS that was giving me the trouble. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was not able to set these up via HomeKit. I had to keep trying to get the app to attach them to the wireless network. After a bunch of failed attempts, I reset the device (hold for 15 seconds). After one failed attempt, the second attempt connected to WiFi and brought up the page for adding the HomeKit accessory. I’m not sure if the hardware has trouble connecting to WiFi or if the software has trouble pointing it to WiFi. Either way these devices need further development.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's a problem with either the app or Insignia's servers. I've been having the exact same problems. Call insignia and complain so they get the software devs fixing their app.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Do you know if your WiFi is 2.4 or 5 GHz? Most common is 2.4 and I believe the switch will only work with 2.4. if you have 5 GHz, that would be the issue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Actually reset with paperclip...rest with button for 8 seconds...then pressed rest button for 15 seconds and then all three switches went online. The only issue is that they are thinking they are the connect freezers and asking me to turn the temperature done???crazy...sounds like a software mixup
