Do you remove the rubber parts on the cooking tray ? null

One of the rubber tips broke off of the fry tray . Can I buy replacement parts

Do not remove these parts from the cooking tray. There are made fo silicone not rubber.

No, these are needed for maintaining gap between frying tray and bottom part of the fryer. These will not melt.

I removed it and used it for a month. Now I have scratches on the inside of the pan, and it was difficult to dump food out wile keeping the tray in place. Now I have it back. I have 2 pieces of bumper and hope I have 4 piece and can have it installed on each side of the tray.

I bought a Bella Pro Series 4.2 qt. On the Instruction Manual/Before Using for the First Time/#5, it says "To ensure the crisping tray fits snugly into the frying basket drawer, there are 4 rubber tips attached to the side of the tray. Before using, check to make sure all 4 rubber tips are in place."

You remove them for cleaning only per the user manual.

They are there to anchor the tray in the basket, so you can dump food contents out and tray will stay in place!

One poster said to read the instructions and that the bumpers need to be removed. These silicone bumpers are NOT shown or mentioned in the instruction booklet.
