- Answer Thanks for your question. The Instant Pot - Smart Wifi 6 Quart Multi-Use Pressure Cooker is a pressure cooker and does not have the air fryer capabilities. You may be interested in one of our air fryers/air fryer ovens that does have the dehydrate function. Check them out!

- Answer To initially pair the pot, you will need your mobile device to be on the same WiFi network. Once it's paired, you can connect to the pot from anywhere, provided your mobile device can access the internet.

QuestionI'm trying to cook rice without using the pressure cooker feature. I can't tell when it's cooking and when it's done. The screen just shows "Auto" even after the 12 minutes it initially shows. Help?

QuestionCan this be used to pressure canner?

- Answer Hello marymays. You can use the Smart Wifi model for what's known as "water boil canning". However, please ensure that you do not pressure can in this model. Pressure canning requires a minimum 15psi, whereas the Smart Wifi is only rated up to 12 psi. This means that it does not reach pressures for safe canning. We currently have two Instant Pots that are capable of pressure canning. The 6 quart Max model and the 6 quart Pro Plus model. QuestionDoes this support 240v to be used outside US ?

- Answer Hello Sandy. Thanks for your question! The 120V models can only be plugged into a 120V outlet and used within North America. Using them in another region and with an adapter will void the warranty. However, we're happy to say that we make certain models for use in other regions! - Answer Hi, Pelee. The Duo Evo's inner pot is a design unique to only a few models. You would need to look at either the Instant Pot Pro or the Pro Crisp for an inner pot with handles.

QuestionDoes anyone know when the app for the Wi-Fi will be working? Without the app cannot use Wi-Fi. Bought mine a month ago and app is still down. No communication since filing with instant brands.

- Answer Hi, I bought mine about 3 weeks ago the app works fine! Are you connected to ur wifi? Is ur pot connected? You tube u can find 2 videos that help you connect it can be a bit difficult because most internet speed connections are 5ghz and u need to be connected at 2.4ghz to connect the pot, then u can go back to ur regular internet speed settings. I hope this helps!

- Answer The App is a fancy way of operating the cooker with some extra feature. You can use the cooker with the front panel, just like all the other instant pot.
