The new Z-790 motherboards would be able to use this without doing a BIOS update as they are already 13th Gen ready.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Well I can’t tell you every motherboard but I personally use ASUS ROG Strix B760-I Gaming but that is a mini ITX motherboard. But that one works outside the box.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you get the msi mpg z690 board the flashback is as simple as plugging in the board and putting a usb stick on and pressing a button. Outside of that, get an asus board, they don’t typically need a flashback. I’ve tried it with the strix b660 or z690 and it worked right out of the box.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need something that is a z790 instead of a z690 if you don't want to do flashback. The z790 is made for 13th gen out of the box.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.any of the z790 should work out of the box. several motherboards do come with bios flash button as part of the rear io where you don't need to have a CPU to update the bios.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Most z790 boards will support 13th gen out of the box. However many z690 boards have a bios flash feature that doesnt need a cpu to be installed to do it, just a flash drive. (Speaking from experience with the MSI pro z690a ddr4)
