Greetings from the Intel team. Thank you for your question. Intel® Core™ desktop processors integrate two types of cores into a single die: powerful performance cores (P-cores) and flexible Efficient cores (E-cores). The Intel® Core™ i9 processor 14900K has eight performance cores with a base frequency of 3.2 GHz up to a max turbo frequency of 5.6 GHz, and sixteen efficient cores with a base frequency of 2.4 GHz up to a max turbo frequency of 4.4 GHz. CPUs do not always need to run at their maximum frequency.
