- Answer There is an online version with only monthly payments. If you install it on your PC, there are no monthly charges.

- Answer I just purchased the latest version of Quick Books Pro for my computer and it works great. I was able to save my old files on a thumb drive from my previous version and it converted the files perfectly. I had customized an invoice and it even kept the format for that, so the transfer was a breeze. You are allowed to install it in up to three computers as far as I know...I have it in 2.

- Answer Yes, buy the disc version instead of a download and you'll have a key code that enables you to install more than one computer.

- Answer There is an online version with monthly payments. The version I bought was physically installed on my computer and there are no monthly charges.

- Answer Yes, you can add the payroll module at any time. Check with Best Buy for pricing. Suggest you add payroll on the anniversary of your QB installation, otherwise you will have two renewal dates to keep track of.

- Answer Per my wife, yes you can install on both your desk- top, laptop and a tablet if you had one. One user covers up to 3 devices. In your home, non profit or small business. You will have to activate on each device. Disregard my earlier answer talking about licenses

- Answer We have found the software needs to be updated every three years. Just had to update the 2014 software to 2017 this year.

- Answer Per my wife, yes you can sign up for them with Quickbooks, they will take you thru the process. Additional monthly payment is possible. She has not used this feature as of yet
