From TurboTax website I bought the CD, but my computer doesn't have a CD drive Oops! You can still install TurboTax if your computer doesn't come with a CD drive: Start by setting up your TurboTax account if you don't already have an account with us. Contact us (be sure to select CD/Download in the first drop-down) and ask your TurboTax Specialist to push a download into your account. Once they've done that, simply sign in to My Downloads to download your TurboTax software.

Purchase a external DVD reader for your computer with a hard copy of the software or go the Turbo Tax online and you can download the software which will probably be stored in the cloud under Turbo Tax. There are a few other venders that you can use that offer an online version. I always use Turbo Tax hard disk and my boys always raze me to use the online versions. I never have any problems with a hard copy for really important information. Just follow the online instructions and make sure you save the information. Hope this helps.
