You can enter up to 5 returns for one copy of the cd. Cd install seems to give more info for all the aspects of the return.

Otherwise you have to buy the software. Looks like BestBuy has a sale on that is cheaper than buying from the TurboTax website. I prefer to have the CD so I can easily load the software again if I get a new computer.

Please try again later.The only difference if buying the same exact product is that generally you can find the product in the stores a little cheaper when on sale by $10 or $20. Also the store purchased versions usually do immediate updates that bring them up to date at no additional charges. I always purchase the store version just to save a couple $$s
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.When using the online program, you have to stay online on the tax application the whole time you are doing taxes. When you buy the program, once you have downloaded any updates, you do not need an online connection until you want to file electronically. You can do all your work offline.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I went to do my sons online . He had 1 W2 & 1 1099 for 1800.00. Online you have to pay $35.00 just because of 1099 form. It is cheaper to buy the cd so you can do more then 1 family member tax return
