this is for two computers, 1 monitor.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This particular KVM switch is designed to handle two computers and share one monitor/keyboard. From my experience with the setup, there isn't a way to have two monitors except in my case, I shared my laptop with my PC, and if I chose to, I could leave my laptop monitor on, thus having two monitors. But, the Laptop would be the only computer that would enjoy two monitors. My PC would not. In order to have two monitors, for one PC, you may want to have one monitor with a vga cable, and the other with a hdmi cable. Hook either monitor with this KVM switch, then take the second monitor and use it in the other port on the computer that you wish to have a dual monitor system. Thus when you share between the two computers, one monitor will be passive to the prioritized PC, and the other monitor will switch back and fourth between the two linked PCs with just a touch of a button.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can't run dual monitors through this setup.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This product only connects one monitor, mouse and keyboard to two computers. You need something else to connect two monitors to one computer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I also have two PCs and two monitors. I was able to use this KVM to switch one monitor between the computers. One of the computers ALWAYS has one monitor dedicated to it, and with the KVM, the second monitor can be used on the second computer (so I then have a separate monitor for each computer) OR I have 2 monitors for that first computer. I'm not sure if that is what you are trying to do, but this set up is exactly what I needed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have 1 computer and two monitors than you would need a vga cable splitter or dvi cable splitter . depending on the video card. If your using 2 computers and 1 monitor, then you would need a IOGEAR - 2-Port USB KVM Switch . hope this helps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you want to have two computers setup to run on one monitor then this switch is for you (allows you to switch between which computer is displayed). If you want to run two monitors on one computer then you may want to look at getting a new graphics card that supports dual monitors.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Use a KVM switch for the monitor you want to use with both computers and directly connect the second monitor.
I would recommend:
