Really ION. Your answer is ridiculous! Yes auto-off should be a function that if the speaker is not receiving an input it should shut off. A MICROPHONE IS AN INPUT. You made a design mistake and know it! You did not realize this until the product was on the market. Rather than admit your mistake and have to replace faulty units you claim it’s due to regulatory compliance. You know that is not true and is ethically wrong. Most people who purchase a PA speaker like this, do so for the microphone. Yours turns off! if this was regulatory compliance, all speakers like this would do the same or they would be illegal to sell. I have told everyone I know not to buy any of your products. I will never buy another.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a similar model that had a similar issue. I found that I had to press the “mode” button until “AUX” appears on the screen. The label next to the button doesn’t say AUX, but it actually shows up on the screen if you press it enough times. Then if you run the microphone through the AUX input in the back (or XLR if your mic has that connector), it shouldn’t shut down, especially if you set the input volume at a high enough level for AUX. This is if you use the speaker only for vocals. If you are running music at the same time, run the music through the AUX port, which will keep it from shutting down, and then run your vocals through the regular MIC1 or MIC2 ports. When my unit kept automatically shutting down, it had “bT” on the screen and not “AUX”. The speaker was monitoring the bluetooth channel for audio, and since it didn’t see any for 20 minutes, it would turn off, even though i had audio coming in on the other ports.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You say, Total PA Glow 3 will enter an energy-saving mode after 20 minutes unless an audio signal at a moderate level is detected from the XLR Input, the Aux Input, the USB/SD media player, the Radio, or a Bluetooth connection. This is just not true. I have had the speaker in a bluetooth connection and it shuts down in 20 minutes. I would be speaking plugged into the MIC1 input and it will shut down into the energy savings mode. THIS IS VERY FRUSTRATING!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am having the same problem, it was a good speaker until now. It was shutting down on me continuously. Now it won’t turn on.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Same. I just bought my Ion Total PA Live speaker today from Sams Club. Ha...now I know why it was there with large quantities. I listened to bluetooth music for a minute with my mic plugged in but realized you can't hear the mic well under the music even with mic turned all the way up. The slider on app controls master volume which turns music an mic up same time. In other words unless the music is at 500watts you can't hear yourself on mic. Impossible to sing with the Bluetooth going. So...i decided to play YouTube karaoke on my tv and sing through the speaker. HA! Kept turning itself off every 3 songs or so. Mic was turned all the way up on app i even had the lights on. Turned the lights off an it still shut off. Unbelievable. My dad bought one several month's ago but hasn't used his yet. He is going to be upset when i tell him abt both manufacturing flaws. His purpose of buying it was to sing WITH his music playing on Bluetooth. Smh. On top of that flaw he cant even sing without the music either. This is no PA system thats for sure.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I understand the auto shut off, however microphone was plugged in and speaking through it. It was a hot signal and still was shutting off while talking through the microphone. Not designed well at all if this cannot be fixed, I will be returning it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My ion Bluetooth speaker when charged and on am/fm radio keeps turning off. Is there a way to disable the power saving mode so it will stay o. Until it’s manually powered down
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It’s the relay it’s no good
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Having the same problem. I found the power transformer to have a bad connection on the board. Mine is a plug in transformer and has a problem staying connected to the board. Shuts down and turns back on or needs a tap on the back panel. ION audio does not have this transformer to sell. Offered a sale on the whole panel at $60 US. Very frustrated
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Same problem, blue toothed to my tv. Turns off every 5 to 20 minutes. Garbage, would not recommend.
