- Answer The Roomba 614 comes with a Home Base charging station. Roomba will attempt to clean the entire clean area for up to 90 minutes, then return to the base to charge itself once it determines the battery is low.

QuestionOne review mentions that is only has a battery life of one hour. Is that accurate? And secondly, does it go over the whole house or only limited rooms? I would need it for seven rooms and a hallway.

- Answer The Roomba 614 is equipped with energy-saving features that turn off indicator lights while charging in order to conserve energy. The power indicator on the Home Base turns on for approximately four seconds and then goes out. At the same time, your robot’s charging indicators will light up, then within a minute all indicators on your robot will go off as well.

QuestionWe’ve been looking for a robot vac, but do not have WiFi. The area we would like vacuumed is approximately 1700sq’ (hardwoods and tile). We have a small dog with the thin hairs that sheds a lot- considering the floor area, which vacuum would work best?Thx

- Answer All of our robot models are able to clean without a connection to WIFI. A WIFI connection will only be necessary to access scheduling and mapping features. For larger clean areas, we would recommend our Roomba i7 or i7+.

QuestionDoes it damage baseboards? We just had ours painted.

- Answer No model of Roomba is designed to cause any damage within your home. The 614 is a very straight forward model with limited features. However this model would have a light touch bumper. This means that the Roomba would be able to recognize an obstacle like a baseboard. To then slow down and have the bumper gently press against the object.

- Answer The Roomba 614 will easily transition between hard surface flooring and carpet with no assistance from you. All Roomba models are able to navigate most throw rugs with no issue.

- Answer I’ve only heard mine talk when I didn’t have it sitting directly onto the charging sensors, it said Error Charging. It addresses this & other troubleshooting problems in the manual.

- Answer All Roomba products are safe to use on hard-floor surfaces. There is nothing on the bottom of the Roomba 614 (or any other Roomba) that would damage/scratch your floors.

- Answer Hello confuse, Unfortunately you cannot put a timer on Roomba 614. You simply press clean to start cleaning, and when it’s complete it will return to its home base.

- Answer I sometimes sprinkle a few pieces of paper out of my paper shredder around the room to see if the vacuum picks up all the pieces of paper.
