Absolutely - the dual brushes (only found on Roomba) combined with the suction power make these robots excellent for pet hair
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, it really really sucks at picking up dog hair that us embedded into carpet. It perhaps I should say it doesn't suck...and that is a problem for an vac. At best this roomba is good for light cleaning of lint balls. Anything small and relatively like sand, just forget it. It's not going to do a good job. Dog hair that is anything except freshly shed, lying on top of carpet, screaming suck me, suck me, is ignored by Roomba 960 at my house. I'm returning mine and will go with another brand as it seems Roomba prices their stronger machines much higher than some other perfectly good robot vacs. Check it out...Roomba 960 has all the sucking power of very early generation robot vacs, at about 9 cfm. Compare that to deebot950 at 24 cfm it neatoD3, 4 and 7 at 17, 19 and 20 cfm. Roomba could do better at the same price point. Yes Roomba 960 has some nice other features, but at the end of the day, I want a robot vac that works hard and cleans well, vs just being smart and/pretty.
