I have three red long shag area rugs and the Roomba does a great job on them. It might have to look for the best place to get up on the area rugs, but I leave it alone and it finds away. I was worried that I would have to get rid of my rugs.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Its funny that you ask that question...my wife and I both rate the Roomba 980 an 8 out of a 10 point rating. The only reason for not ranking it a 10 is ... it does not work well on Deep Shag Carpets. All other types of carpet and floors, its just excellent !!!
