In our case the cat toys either get pushed ahead of the Roomba, or it just rolls over them. I'd say you should go for it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. After I bought my first Roomba 980 I loved it so much that I bought 4 more as gifts to people I care a lot and they were all very happy. It is absolutely the best value of the money I have spent. You will not regret buying it! The pet toys should not be a problem. I don't have a cat but I have 3 dogs. They all leave toys around. Roomba just pushes them around. It is possible that they got pushed to some unexpected corners and difficult to find, but it should not cause any problem to running the Roomba. Even if the toys are so small they got sucked into the Roomba, all you need to do is to dig it out when you clean the Roomba and no harm done. Hey your cat may enjoy playing with the new play pal! I saw on YouTube videos of cats riding on the Roomba and they are absolutely adorable!
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thee size of the toys & whether or not they have loose strings, cords, etc. protruding from them will determine risk for getting caught-up in the 980. Our bot goes arou d many of our toddler's small toys, or pushes them out of the way if they don't weigh enough to depress the bot's safety bumper. You may want to verify Best Buy's return policy would permit you ro return the bot if you have issues (14-days I believe). It does a grwat job w/toddler messes (cracker crumbs, etc.) as well as ample daily dog hair--we're impressed & definitely recommend, bought protection plan for peace of mind. Hope this helps & good luck! -B2
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Our 3 dogs leave their toys all over the house, Roomba just pushes the balls out of the way, but I do pick up the string toy as it does try to sweep the string up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would try it and return it if it does. You don’t vacuum over them now - do you? Pick em up!
