According to their chat support, the maximum height of a threshold that all Roomba models can transition over, when performing a cleaning cycle, is ⅝ in (1.6 cm). So, in my case, since I have 1.5 in steps in certain sections of my apartment, I´m thinking about building small ramps to fix this.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My mom has the same situation. Once Roomba has finished the upper level you will have to pick her or him up and move her or him down to the living room. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has a floor sensor, so if it sense a significant drop, it will stop. We have a 1/2" floor height difference in one spot and it works. I'd say any further than that and it would not work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.if its more than a 1/4-1/2" step down you would have to either take the roomba to the lower level or im assuming you would have to get another Roomba for that area. it will not climb steps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. To my knowledge it cannot go over large step downs. if it is like a 1/2 inch or less yes probably. it goes over our room dividers on our hardwood floors going to our tile floor pretty easily.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.it comes with 2 avoid sensors. Just put on sensor at top of stairs.
