All you need to do is download the app and follow the directions. Also call customer service they are excellent and will walk you through it.

You must be connected to your house wifi with your phone and enter the password before you can proceed to the next step. It will ask you to create an account with iRobot for notification of job completion. If you follow the onscreen instruction you will be up in no time. As for the vacuum itself. find a clear spot against the wall in your house plug it in and recharge the vacuum then press the clean button, That's it. To empty out the canister just press the button in the back and extract the canister
