I only tell it to vacuum under the table when I specify that area and have pulled out the chairs. You just need to use the app to map out your room so the table is a separate area. This saves the vacuum from going in and out, over and over and over like they normally do around tables and chairs. Otherwise it would take forever.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That is definitely a lot of legs! The Roomba s9+ would be able to navigate around the legs. There is a bumper on the front of the Roomba. Which when pressed would cause a new path to be determined and the Roomba would navigate away. If you found that the Roomba was spending a little bit too much time navigating around the legs. Once your Imprint Smart Map was set up. You would be able to set up a Keep-Out Zone around just the table and chairs. This way the Roomba would still clean the other parts of the room and not attempt to navigate around the legs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We move things before we start. The vacuum will go around the chairs, but there is a lot of floor that will not get cleaned.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I also have two areas that have chairs in the way. The robot keeps trying to get in between the legs and if it can't it will move on. But it tries every time it's cleaning.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have found it does quite well. It will adapt to furniture moving around. When I want a better clean under the table, I will pull out the chairs slightly. I have a square table that seats 4-8. When I want a great clean, and mop, I move the chairs from the area. Also setting up clean zones helps. Like “around the table “ or “dining traffic” to make it quick to clean and mop only certain areas.
