“Does this work for hdr ycbr 444 full? Or rgb 444 limited? Data rate should be enough but have had problems with adaptors not recognizing hdr due to some weird substandard differences between monitors and tvs for some reason”

Yes you will have problems like that. There ment for high end monitores or components using lightning speed of 8k. It will do 4k with ease.
