- Answer In order for this device to work it will require that your tablet supports a feature called DisplayPort Alternate Mode over USB Type-C, in your case your tablet does not support this feature. So with this being said unfortunately this device will not work with your tablet.

QuestionI purchased this to hook up my surface book to a 40 inch tv but the screen keeps blanking out and coming back on. Do I need a specific HDMI cord for this to work properly? I have tried 3 different cords with the same result.

- Answer The USB-C to 4K HDMI Adapter requires that the Type-C port on your smartphone, tablet, or laptop support DisplayPort Alternate Mode. The PlayStation 5 does not support DisplayPort Alternate Mode therefore is not compatible with the USB-C to 4K HDMI Adapter. - Answer No, the Galaxy A03s USB Type-C interface does not support DisplayPort Alt Mode to transmit audio and video signals. The USB Type-C interface only supports Data.

- Answer The Samsung Galaxy S9 must support Samsung DeX that allows a desktop-like experience when connected to an external display, such as a monitor or TV. If the TV or monitor do not support HDCP(High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection), the Samsung DeX mode screen may not be displayed. By default, Samsung Dex will automatically activate after you have connected an external display, via USB-C, to the Samsung Galaxy device. Thank you.

- Answer The One Plus N200 5G phone will need to support DisplayPort v1.2 through it's USB Type-C interface for video out when using an HDMI adapter. However, the Samsung Galaxy S7 FE 5G tablet must support DisplayPort Alt Mode for video out via HDMI through it's USB 3.2 Gen 1 port. - Answer Yes, you can have sound coming from a computer or to a TV when using the USB-C to 4K HDMI Adapter. Go to "Sound Setting" and select "Choose where to play sound". Please make sure that your computer has an available USB-C port that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode for video out. Thank you.

- Answer No, USB-C to 4K HDMI Adapter will not work on a PS5. The PS5 only has a HDMI video out port that it uses to transmit audio and video in conjunction with a HDMI cable and wouldn't work because it would bypass the internal GPU. If the HDMI port of your PS4 is broken, you will need to get it fixed by contacting PlayStation directly or a licensed repair business. Thank you.
