• Because the LG Stylo 5 does not support DP alt-mode which is when the phone supports video/display via the USB-C port, you will not be able to obtain video/display using the JCA379. Instead, we recommend exchanging the JCA379 for the JUA165C and that will work for you. • The attached usb-c cable goes into your phone. You need a separate HDMI cable; one end goes in the adapter, other end into your tv. Select that hdmi input on your tv and voila, you should see your phone screen on the tv.

• I am trying to use the JUA165C on my LG Stylo 5 and it will not play videos unless they were taken by the phone. I cannot play videos from Vudu which is what I was hoping to do.
