QuestionSo I purchased this 13-in-1 so i could incorporate two 24 inch lg monitors I had also just purchased. I have HDMI cables from the monitors to the docking station HDMI ports. Only 1 monitor worked. I have the Acer 315 Chromebook with USBC connection. Help

- Answer The HDMI or DP are PnP ports that require DisplayPort Alt Mode. However, the VGA and stand alone HDMI port requires an installation of a driver. Unfortunately, drivers are only available for Windows and Mac platforms, will not work on a ChromeOS. Sincerely, j5create.

QuestionI bought the j5create JCD543 triple display docking station. While I am able to connect three external displays to my macbook pro with Monterey 12.6, I am able to rotate only one display. Is there a way I can rotate my other external displays?

- Answer The HDMI or DP port are able to feature rotation mode since those are PnP video ports. - Answer The docking station will work with any laptop that uses a USB-C port. The docking will charge your laptop, but you need to connect power to the docking station, not included. I use the charger that came with my computer. I have connected a Microsoft Laptop 3, a MacBook Pro, Dell Latitud (Work computer), and for a limited time a Dell XPS. They all worked fine. One on the things I like the most about this docking station is the SD Card readers, it saves you from having another device. For the price I like this HUB a LOT BETTER than my Microsoft Dock which was much more expensive.

- Answer Yes, the USB-C Triple Display Docking Station will allow up to 3 display's at extended mode. However, your PC must support DisplayPort Alt Mode to transmit audio and video signals via DP or HDMI port. Those are Plug n Play video ports. The VGA, Mic and stand alone HDMI port requires an installation of a driver. Drivers are located on j5create website under the Support tab. Available display combinations: HDMI + VGA + DisplayPort HDMI + VGA + HDMI

- Answer The Dock uses power from your computer to power on the device. The power adapter, when connected to the USB-C power-in port will charge your computer and add some power to the USB ports to run high USB peripherals but will depend if the computer supports Power Delivery.

- Answer It will, but because we are unable to determine whether or not the USB-C port supports video output via USB-C, we cannot guarantee the HDMI/DP port under the "or" bracket will work. The JCD381 will will work as it is driver based.

- Answer See my review submitted today. The two emails from company customer support indicated PRIOR to Big Sur 11.1 says they should have it solved very soon. I am still waiting, and waiting... (ask yourself how long has Big Sur's beta program, release candidate, Gold Release and Big Sur 11.01 and 11.1 been available?? ). IF they cannot fix this issue, they should offer free swaps for other comparable products to existing owners.

- Answer Ensure your Lenovo laptop's USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode). Without this, the dock will not output video correctly via HDMI/DP. If not already done, install the required drivers. Drivers are available from the j5create's support page. Connect each monitor one at a time to ensure all ports on the dock and monitors are functional. Available display combinations: HDMI + VGA + DisplayPort HDMI + VGA + HDMI Note: 1 HDMI/DisplayPort combo port supports either HDMI or DisplayPort, but not both simultaneously.

- Answer The USB-C Triple Display Docking Station is not intended for graphic intensive applications, such as gaming. It may work on low end graphic games but will run into lag with high end intensive gaming and the host connection is only USB-C, not a TB3 or USB4/TB4 compatibility. The JCD403 USB4 8K Multi-Port Hub is another option for you. Thank you.
