Q: QuestionMy LG OLEG tv is located in my living room. The cable box, AV receiver and DVD player are located approx. 40' away in another room. All were connected via a remote. Will this Extender kit work with the new LG tv bypassing the need to run new HDMI cable?

• A:Answer The transmitter should be able to take the hdmi signal from the other room and broadcast it to the waiting receiver where the new tv is as soon as the transmitter and receiver are properly paired. However, depending on the materials used in the walls between the units as well as any wiring inside the walls, there can be some signal degradation.

Q: QuestionIf I connect a 4k signal to the transmitter, what resolution will I get at the receiver? How does this change if the 4k is 60hz vs 30hz? Does it fail to transmit or does it convert 4k to 2k before transmitting?

• A:Answer It might depend on the construction of the walls, if frame, probably. I tested at 50' and got good signal once the receiver was mounted high enough and I adjected the antenna. I work with RF all the time, and know your mileage will will vary based on construction. I'd give it a try, you can always return if it does not work.

• A:Answer Yes, the Transmitter unit connects to a computer and the Receiver unit to a display, both with an available HDMI connection. Please pair the Wireless Display HDMI Extender by connecting both units to a power adapter and stack them on top of each other. (They must be stacked on top of one another to pair). This is because they use NFC (Near-Field Communication) to pair. Once both units are on, press and hold the pair button on the back of the device (you may need a needle to push the button that is inside the hole) until both units’ lights are blinking. They will both flash red or orange, and finally green when they have been paired.

• A:Answer This item will only send an hdmi signal to one tv. In order to reach both tv's, you would need to use a splitter and additional hdmi cable or another extender with additional cable to reach the second tv.

Q: QuestionMy transmitter is working great, but there is a green line along the bottom of my tv picture. Is that normal, or is there a way to turn that off?

• A:Answer A green line along the bottom of your TV picture when using the Wireless Display HDMI Extender is not normal. It could be caused by signal interference or resolution mismatches. Unplug and replug both HDMI cables (transmitter and receiver). Try using different HDMI ports on your TV. If you're using Wi-Fi near the transmitter, it might cause interference. Try moving Wi-Fi devices away. If possible, connect the receiver to another display to see if the green line persists. If it doesn’t appear on another TV, the issue might be with your TV's HDMI processing.
