Hello. The elite 65 active have the heart rate and not the elite 65. Plus the sound quality is better with the elite 65 and got way better ratings then the active elite 65 and They are both sweat proof and dust proof.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have The reg elite 65t and i sweat A lot with them at the gym. I havent Had any issues at all. I use To break my lg tone headphones because of my sweat. These are holding up great
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The difference is Active comes in a bluish color and the IP rating is IP56 which is slightly better than the regular 65t with an IP rating of IP55. If you sweat regularly get the Actives but the IP rating is still not the best for liquid (water, sweat, rain). Otherwise they are exactly the same.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You named the two differences between the elite 65t and the active. The active would be more for individuals that want to keep up with their activities as well as better sweat and water protection especially if the person sweats alot or out jogging and get caught in the rain. The reg elite 65t offers the same just not as much as the active. If you don't sweat alot like you say, then you can just get the reg elite 65t.

You are correct, the only two features that differentiate the Jabra Elite Active 65t from the Jabra Elite 65t are the step counter, and the higher IP rating.
