Yes. You can use just one ear bud, but it MUST be the right ear bud. You cannot use the left ear bud by itself. The right ear bud has the master controls and can be used alone if you so choose. You can either have the left ear bud in your ear and turn it off, or you can leave the left ear bud in the case and just insert and use the right ear bud.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have Javras Elite Sport and the left doesn't work by itself...what a disappointment for such an expensive ear bud. You can not use the left one by itself for anything, and that's so frustrating.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, you can not use the left ear bud for anything without the right ear bud. Exampme: If you have both on, and remove the right one, you will hear nothing; but, if you remove the left, the right one continues to work. In other words, you will "always" use the right ear bud for everything, and the left only when you want to listen with both ears, that's it. This is horrible feature.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You are able to use one without the other. Once you bring the other earbud up, it is able to connect together and pass through both buds. There are options in the Sound+ app that you can further optimize the use.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If they are paired, then no, but the left one will work by itself.
