This did not work for me unfortunately. A hard reset with the company over the phone also did not work. This has become an issue in some of the units. I have returned mine to the company and I am waiting for the arrival of a new set. Hopefully the glitch/defect is solved.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had a hard time figuring this out but I finally found the correct answer. I found the actual manual online, followed it step by step and got them both to pair to each other and I can hear music on both at the same time. •Turn them both off •Disconnect and forget from phone (my additional step) •Put them in the case and take them out again •(Without paring them to anything) they should both pair to each other until both it lit up blue for 5 seconds. •after pairing to each other, on the phone, it should appear "Jam Ultra" ONLY and connect to it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wanted this same question answered myself and finally found this answer. Mine keep going from stereo to mono at the gym and I would have to go in the locker room and put them in the case and take them out to start over. will find out this morning if this works. I hope it does!! audio would only come out of one headphone. The issue is easy enough to fix, simply requiring you to double-tap the pause/play button on each bud, Read more at http://www.trustedreviews.com/reviews/jam-ultra#OAjSasixqgt0mtIB.99
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.None of these answers worked for me. Here is what I did. I disconnected them from my phone. Turn them off. While holding one in each hand, and looking at their indicator lights, Turn them back on, they will be flashing blue and red without sync, then triple click the power button at the same time, they will then show a solid blue light at the same time. After this just pair them to your phone, Jam Ultra.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the JAM Ultra model and this I what I had to do. Put them back in the charger, and go into your device settings and select Forget this device. Then have the device in Bluetooth off mode, but ready to switch on. Take out the earbud that doesn't have sound first, and wait for it to start flashing red/blue. Then take out the other earbud and press the button once to get i to start flashing red/blue. You may have to try a few times to get them flashing red/blue at the same time, but when they are then turn on the Bluetooth on your device. You may see both JAM and JAM Mono options appear. Make sure to select the JAM one only, and Forget this device on the Mono option. Finally, you may have to pair the earbuds as discussed by others, by double-clicking their buttons at the same time. The key here is that the device pairing option is correct; the Mono has been removed.
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.TLDR: If you remove the right one first and let it boot up before you remove the left from the case it will work. I discovered this through experimentation but the right earbud seems to be the "MONO" device. You can think of it as the "Host" I guess and the left bud is the "Client" When you remove the left bud it will work on its own but it will not allow the right to connect to it because it is a client to the phone at that point I believe and doesn't accept connections.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same problem add I googled how to do a factory reset on Jam ultra ear buds. Did it and they work fine now
