Q: QuestionWhen will Up3 be available for shipping?

• A:Answer Regarding the comment suggesting "August 2015," that would most likely be referring to new orders, if that news is indeed accurate—not preorders (for those who have a preorder through Jawbone or Best Buy). I've been in frequent contact with both Jawbone and Best Buy support and have been assured a "January or February" release, at least for initial preorders, which Jawbone have confirmed will be their first fulfillment priority. The CEO of Jawbone reported to Forbes today (1/22) that the delay is due to "sealing problems," which I assume is in regard to their promise for waterproof operation. I plan on sitting tight on my preorder for the time being, as the UP3 is definitely the superior product if they make good on their promises on the product page. However, if it's delayed any further and an update of the Microsoft Band comes out in the meantime, it could be the dealbreaker. Other current generation fitness trackers just dont have any appeal to me.

• A:Answer I'm not sure what failures you are talking about, but I got one for both myself and my wife. We've had no issues with them so far. We've had them for about 3+ weeks now. We are both really happy with them. I love the software features that help track your eating, sleeping, and exercise habits.

• A:Answer Since the latest software update it will now give a heart rate throughout the day or an average. So it's actually a lot better now. Glad this feature was added. Hope this helps.

• A:Answer Jawbone says that an update for that is coming and will be updated over the air. For now it just gets your resting heart rate.

• A:Answer It is water resistant. I take mine in the shower, and it's going to be fine in a rain storm, but it isn't recommended for swimming. I personally wouldn't hesitate to take it into the pool for laps, but it's not made to handle the pressures of deeper underwater use.

• A:Answer I charged before 1st use but it only took 1hr and lasted 6.5 to 7days before needing another charge. When you open the phone app and sync the device to the app, you will see a red "low battery" sign as the indicator that charge is needed

• A:Answer It hooks together so it doesn't easily fall off. Though it will loosen and you need to retighten it once in a while. I find that I just reset it when I put it on after a recharge.

• A:Answer You must read the instructions carefully. I had the same problem then realized that I missed a step/ overlooked a step. there are also videos to show you how to connect and other tings you can do with the Jawbone UP and above

• A:Answer It displays your current passive heart rate with a graph of the passive heart rates it has taken throughout the day. It doesn't take your active heart rate nor does it show your current heart rate on demand yet.

Q: QuestionDoes Jawbone allow you to track diet and nutrition?I liked my Bodymedia Fit monitor because I could synch it with my computer, key in what I ate and get calories expended, steps walked, nutrition values, sleep times, heart rate, etc., etc. Does Jawbone have anywhere that you can record/synch, etc.
